Bruh.

Polygamy is a disaster to society that has a tendency of crushing gender equality, which is why almost all early feminists campaigned strongly against polygamy and why countries with polygamy lag pretty badly in gender quality.

People engaging in open relationships, eh, I don't think it's workable for the vast majority of couples, but it's not as socially corrosive as polygamy.

An open relationship isn't an affair though? An affair implies it's being done without the other partner's knowledge or consent, i.e. cheating, while an open relationship is something that everyone involved has agreed to.

Oh, fair, yeah, I read that differently.
