I really like the idea and the bill, but I wanted to hop in here and advocate for some language that would put limitations on the above section. Healthcare and mental healthcare should be provided by schools for students to an extent. Leaving this vague, I fear, may lead some to interpret it as full healthcare and mental healthcare services --which schools don't need to do (we have hospitals and doctor's offices, etc, for that). But like I said, some level is definitely necessary.

Without getting too much into the nitty gritty, I advise limitations put on that section. Child care is another example, because we don't need elementary schools with child care (elementary school students don't have children...I hope...teachers do, I would support that).

Suggested Amendment if I may. I realize its not perfect, but I don't want to just jump in here and not be productive. I would be more generous with mental health care IMO.

Just my thoughts. Same ends as the intent of the bill I believe.

EDIT: Did not read all 8 pages of thread, don't yell if this has been mentioned.

Just use "day to day". I forgot I put tourniquet, I was trying to find a work that meant more or less temporary, and had thought tourniquet could be used that way. Regardless, day to day works just the same.

Fixed:

Just because there is wireless access does not mean you have to use wireless access. Averroes, in college I preferred,  in class, my notebook over a laptop but I did appreciate that there was wireless access when i needed it. Perhaps wireless access in elementary schools would benefit faculty and indirectly, students?

Ya'll are stuck in the mud on specifics. Windows XP? Mac? Just let school districts decide and let an Inspector General/Attorney General prosecute/fine them if they determine that the bill was implemented in a (for a sudden lack of a better word) improper or bad way.

This bill needs to keep moving forward. Don't forget the goal here, to make education better! Smiley

Unless I am mistaken there are no amendments presently before this.

TNF opposes imaginary amendment. No sopresa
