Can't find a non-paywalled link, but Mainstreet has Angus leading:
Angus 28%
Ashton 17%
Caron 11%
Singh 9%

http://ipolitics.ca/2017/08/09/angus-leading-in-leadership-polling-among-ndp-members/

So compared to the previous Mainstreet poll, Angus is up 4, Ashton is down 5, Caron is up 3 and Singh is up 2 (and DK in down a bit too). Of course ths poll would have ZERO new members signed up in the last few months

Parliament is sooo over rated. Mulcair was a star in question period and no one have a sh**t. Trudeau almost never showed up I. Parliament and May as well have not been an MP at all and he is now PM

The problem with Ashton is not that she's too left wing or that her policies (such that they exist) would be unpopular....it's more that she just isn't very smart and is like a first year student who took one course on Marxism and now just chants stale slogans all day. Corbin in contrast is clearly a very intelligent and substantive man

One thing Hebert avoids discussing is the fact that Trudeau has said absolutely nothing about the discriminatory law being proposed in Quebec, for some reason it's only an issue when a fringe candidate for the NDP leadership fails to unequivocally condemn the Premier of Quebec but no one gives a hoot that the PM of Canada is staying silent and sending out ambiguous signals

In many ways there is a bit of a "narcissism of small difference" here between the four candidates. All four have expressed their personal opposition to Bill 62. Some have used tougher language than others and Caron has acknowledged that it's a debate that needs to be resolved among quebecers. But substantively it makes no difference which of these four people becomes PM. The Government of Canada doesn't get to arbitrarily revoke provincial laws that it disagrees with. There is some debate as to whether or not Bill 62 or is not in contravention of the Canadian charter of rights and freedoms or the Quebec human  rights act....only the courts can decide that. So in the end we are choosing between four people who agree on this issue but use slightly difference nuances in how they express their opinion

So if the NDP membership rose from 41,000 to 124,000 that means that there were 83,000 new signups since March of which 47,000 are supposedly sign-ups by the Singh campaign. but that does NOT mean that the other 36,000 were people signed up by other candidates.

I suspect many would simply be lapsed members who renewed on their own to take part in the leadership vote who would not have done so at the behest of any campaign...plus you likely have a lot of new people joining the party on their own in BC due to the provincial election campaign and the NDP forming government plus a lot of people signing up in Manitoba to vote in the provincial leadership race there...so Jagmeet Singh may have a bigger lead than people think.

If Olivia Chow were to endorse anyone (and I doubt she would), she'd endorse Jagmeet Singh. A lot of gang who were working for Jack Layton are in this camp now and Jagmeet's campaign manager was EA to Olivia's stepson Mike Layton

Carin always said that he personally opposed Bill 62, but he also said that the Quebec National Assembly had the right to pass laws like this under the constitution and that it was a debate to Ben resolved in Quebec.

I'm not so sure about that. Topp is very respected by a lot of people in the party and a large chunk of people supported him for leader in 2012 when he made it to the final ballot. His backing could also be a subtle signal to members in Alberta on who they ought to support

Here is the breakdown

Singh: 34.9%
Angus: 33.1%
Ashton: 18.5%
Caron: 13.5%

Singh isn't doing well on people's second preferences though, and would probably lose if these numbers are to be believed. But this is all good news for Singh, as I reckon his support is much lower in these polls than in reality.

Its actually a remarkably good showing for Singh considering that the sample polled was recent NDP donors...meaning its likely very very light on the 47,000 new members Singh's campaign signed up

Don't count on Mulcair resigning his seat in Outremont before the 2019 election. Apparently he has no job lined up yet and may prefer to be the elder statesman ex-leader for two more years and make a good salary

It's very interesting to see the Bloc attack Singh over his religion because he wears a turban, but you don't hear a peep from the about Andrew Scheer's religion even though Scheer is an ultra religious catholic who opposes gay rights and is anti-abortion...but I guess as long as Scheer doesn't put anything in his head, no one cares about his religion

Guy Caron has been chosen by Jagmeet Singh to lead the NDP in the House of Commons for the next two years. Great choice!

Marjolaine Boutin-Sweet in Hochelaga could also easily win again
