If Kasich were to run in the Republican primary in 2020, I'd vote for him against Trump without question. He might be enough to get me back in the Republican ranks. (Might be, though I'll never fully trust any of the party leaders again after they bowed to someone so exactly opposite of what the party claimed to be).

If he were to run as an independent in the general, I might vote for him depending on who the Democrat is and on what the polls look like.
