Adding the GM Bill

Article VIII, Section 2 of the Atlasian Constitution shall hereby include the following as Clause 6:

6. The position of Game Moderator is established to provide frequent and timely updates to the President, Senate and people of Atlasia on the foreign and domestic events as they occur.

The GM shall be appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Senate.
The GM shall serve at the pleasure of the President and the Senate and may be dismissed by the President or removed by a two-thirds vote of the Senate.

Isn't this a constitutional amendment, not a bill?

Nay (Can't we have more time to debate these things? Shoving important legislation to circumvent a loss in court right at the end of a legislative session is pretty low. Also, I don't like the fact that this amends the constitution via a Senate measure. Not only is legality questionable, but this is an important matter than we should deal with with more time.)

You had 3 days and said nothing. And there was no real debate between actual Senators and in over a day too.

I must say that I'm uncomfortable with essentially amending the constitution with a Senate bill, even it may technically be legal.

This isn't on the floor anymore. This was the last senate.

I don't think so, unless the Wiki is out of date (or I'm reading it wrong).

Didn't even know about that, besides the fact that its never been followed as far as I know. PS didn't want to re-introduce it so we'll just go with that he withdrew it and no one sponsored it in time.
