Yep; that really surprised me. He made up for it by Pulaski County by a larger margin (56/41 vs 51/45).

^ Yeah. Cotton is also from the Russellville area, which is probably why the counties in between CDs 2 and 3 are bluish-purple.

Pryor outperformed Lincoln in the southern part of CD4, but I was still expecting him to pick off many more counties there. The DSCC said they registered thousands of new black voters in that area, but I guess it wasn't enough to cancel out the slump with whites.
