Can anyone of the Canadian/US posters please do an overview of Ice Hockey, because I'm no expert with this ... ?

Thx.

Here is a good SI article that grades the rosters of the top teams (Canada, Russia, Sweden and the United States):

Canada is the heavy favorite to repeat, but the other three top teams will be competative. This is the sport that I am the most excited to watch as there are 4 former Wisconsin Badgers on the US team and a guy from Madison that unfortunately went to Minnesota. Also Chicago Blackhawks Forward Patrick Kane likes to party in Madison, so I'll claim him to! Tongue

Also Jessie Vetter, the US Women's goalie, is from my hometown in Wisconsin!

Anna Gasser has won the most points today in the Women's Snowboard Slopestyle qualification (even ahead of Torah Bright) !

Gasser is so far the only woman on Earth to complete a so called "Cab Double Cork 900" without falling to the ground:

She has said she will try that trick once again in the Finals. If she completes it, she will basically win the Gold medal !

I didn't even know before today that we had a chance for a Gold medal in Slopestyle ... Smiley

Anyway, the 3 Austrian Slopestyle men have to go into the additional Saturday qualification round for 4 open Final slots.

OMG! A fellow Gasser! Go Anna!
