The federal government does already mandate a standardized test, the National Teacher Licensing Examination, through the Atlasian Institute of Teachers. The NTLE assuages concerns about teaching to the test because the teachers are actually tested directly. The law was also written to give the regions a say in what is tested and what isn't.

I don't think these provisions will affect your bill too much, but if you trust the licensing procedures of the AIT, you might find that the AAQIS is redundant.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll have to take a lot at it and see what we can still do on a regional level.
