What's more likely?

TRUMP above 75% In NE or Sanders winning every county in WV?

Clinton will probably win Jefferson and Berkeley counties which are essentially part of the DC area.

Yeah, Kentucky and West Virginia are going to be states were closed primaries are not going to help Clinton.

I would be very hesitant to call it, with so much of Charleston out.

That certainly is premature, not that Sanders wouldn't win... but... still.

It's pretty unlikely that the Kanawha margin will hold.

Absolutely, but I'd still be a little conservative, but that's me.

There is also a lot rural area in Kanawha County. The city isn't very big.

Nebraska:

Clinton 10835 (61.26%)
Sanders 6851 (38.74%)

All early vote, I think?

Sanders' campaign is such a joke. His entire campaign strategy was to win places where the vast majority of the electorate is disenfranchised (caucuses) or by tacitly appealing to racists and misogynists (OK & WV.) And to top it all off he still lost in a landslide! Hope it was worth it to him represent the party's vilest elements! Good use of 100 million dollars!

Why should his campaign worry about a beauty contest?

Do you think there will be a live coverage of the NE result on CNN?

The answer to my question is obviously NO.
They didn't even advert to the non-binding primary. Angry

It doesn't matter, thats why.

Clinton lead in Kanawha County now just 48-45. Look like the primary map is even more ruined now.

Kentucky needs to vote Bernie now to keep continuity.

I'd wager Hillary takes Kentucky. Since its super closed and Hillary managed to win Democrats in WV, the map is gonna be ugly.

Higher African American population too.

lets hope that DWS does the right thing and refuses to seat Bernie's NE delegates after the people of Nebraska, when given a fair and democratic opportunity to do so, overwhelmingly reject him!

This would actually be a good way to abolish caucuses in the future. Just dictate that any states that have them will count for no delegates, or their delegates get cut in half. Iowa can be an exception because of muh traditionz.

I'm up for getting rid of caucuses in exchange for every state going to open primaries or at worst modified open/closed.

I'm hoping this happens at the DNC this year. Bernie is clearly going to push for more open primaries at the convention along with reducing the amount of superdelegates, and DWS and the Clintonites clearly want to nix caucuses. It would be a great compromise.

Luckily it sounds like Colorado, Maine, and Minnesota are all moving towards going to a primary.

Open primaries in all 50 states is a horrible idea. You'd have Republicans picking our nominee in years without competitive GOP primaries.

That never happens in states where there are open primaries. Half the states in the country don't even have party registration.

I could agree to a small reduction in superdelegates in the context of an overall "primary reform" deal, but I don't think we should abolish them by any means. What 2016 has shown is that voters cannot be trusted to blindly pick their own presidents - they picked a fascist on one side, and almost picked a socialist on the other side. Just like in the general election where electors can be faithless, superdelegates provide an important "check" on the voters during the primary process. I can agree to the idea that if the voters go with the "wrong" choice by such a large margin that the superdelegates become irrevelant that then the party establishment needs to change their views and endorse the "wrong" nominee. But if the voters are sort of closely divided, the choice should be left up to the party establishment, as they are more likely to know what is truly in the party's best interest.

I'm in favor of cutting it down to just elected officials (Senators, Representatives, Governors, and state legislature leaders in states where there are no majorly elected Democrats).
