The 1929 crisis brings down the CDP/LRP and leads to the first alternance.

1920 : Stanley Baldwin / Raymond Poincaré
1924 : Stanley Baldwin /Tomas Masaryk
1928: Stanley Baldwin/Tomas Masaryk

1932 : Getulio Vargas/John Horne Blackmore
1936: Adolf Hitler/Benito Mussolini
Conservative democratic party (center-right) / Liberal republican party (center-right)
People's Party (populist, economically interventionist but anti-socialist)
National Populist Party (Facism/Socialism)

Not happening. Hitler/Mussoilini would never win nothing in the world... and not as socialist... but, anyways...

Having outweighed the more bellicist Ramsay MacDonald and Edouard Daladier in a hard-fought primary, Hansson and Torcuato de Alvear cruise to the general election, as the failures of Vargas and the remaining economic crisis favour a center-left victory.

1920: Stanley Baldwin/Raymond Poincaré
1924: Stanley Baldwin/Tomas Masaryk
1928: Stanley Baldwin/Tomas Masaryk

1932: Getulio Vargas/John Horne Blackmore

1940: Per Albin Hansson/Manuel Azaña

Conservative democratic party (center-right) / Liberal republican party (center-right)

Social Democratic and Civic Movement

(what do we do in 1940 ? we've got a problem with the League of Nations... Wink)
I think we should include every country, to make this easier.

The Kubitschek presidency is a mess and the tickets with Americans (Nixon and LBJ) are outrageous for many southern peoples, so the new rally, Patriots of the World, succeeds in grasping power.

But Nehru dies almost immediately and the VP turned president is forced to pick another bigwig from the South.

President De Gaulle has a huge popularity in Europe, America and also in Asia. He's reelected unnoposed by major parties.
