Evangelion 2.22  Brilliant piece of anime.  Great film and very confusing.

Toy Story 3.

Simply put, fantastic.  The series in of itself will be one of the majour things that will define my generation.  It is an emotional, enthralling tale of plastic crap exemplifying the very human obstacles of love, loss, friendship, loyalty, and most importantly, moving on and facing death.  Marvelous end to an exceptional saga.  Well done, Pixar, Well Done.

Did you see it in 2D or 3D? I could have seen it in either for free but I went with the 2D, which looked great. I'm so tired of the 3D crap.

2D.  3D is a waste of money for the movie, and if you watched it in 2D anybody would realize that.

Just watched the Seventh film, and I have to say, it is pretty damn good and faithful to the novel (well as far as you can be faithful on a movie anyways).

What threw me off was Emma and Daniel's little tryst scene...I knew it was coming, but I didn't expect it to be that intimate! Tongue

Superb acting on all parts.Smiley

Kevin Smith films, Chasing Amy and Dogma.   Also, Galaxy Quest and The Search for John Gissing. (Guess what the shared factor between the last three films.)

The Brothers Bloom - a suggestion from a friend of mine.  It was a pretty good film, though Adrien Brody's character was a bit too mopey for me.

Five Centimeters Per Second - absolutely touching and brilliant, one of the best anime films I have seen.

I finally saw Midnight in Paris.  It's my favorite movie of 2011 hands down.

A good movie for Naso, but he probably wouldn't get why.

Agreed, it's a real gem. The lessons are really explicit, but I guess that's part of the beauty -- for some reason they didn't come off as cheesy as they should have.

Pleasantville

Surprisingly good film, with both a lot of explicit and subtle twists, the social commentary was spot on while managing to stay very philosophical. Pretty good story and acting was great as well.
