The most interesting part of the poll is that if all the Mormons would leave Utah, Utah would become California 2.0

I played around with the 2008 exit polls once... "Other" (mostly Mormons) were approximately 4/5 McCain, while everyone else was 4/5 Obama. It's an extremely polarized state.

I'm guessing non-Mormons are Democratic mostly because Mormons are so Republican. If the Mormon population collapsed, the state would probably end up voting like Colorado.
