If we're talking about continuous streaks of supporting the winner, while OH had one of the longest, it is by no means the first. In fact, it shares its 14 elections streak (1964-2016) with five other states: MD (1892-1944), ID, MT (both 1904-1956), IL and NJ (both 1920-1972). The record is jointly held by NM and NV: 16 (1912-1972).
