Seriously, you wouldn't defend me if I said that Barbra Boxer was a communist.

Matter of opinion.....but Tancredo is a lot further right than Boxer is left Smiley

Besides, people have to get it out of their heads that fascism is extreme rightism. It, in fact, does not fall well on a traditional 1 dimensional or 2 dimensional political spectrum.

Actually it does--medium-left economic values and far-right social values sums it up reasonably well.  It doesn't fit the US political spectrum well however.

Yeah, because anti-hispanic demagoguery is what Colorado/America needs right now. Roll Eyes

Actually, it looks like Hispanics really like Tancredo, especially in the PPP polls. He's running close to even with them compared to his statewide totals in the last 3 PPP polls I think.

Now this might be due to small sample size, but I don't think it's that unusual.  Colorado Hispanics outside of Denver are remarkably swing-y voters, so it wouldn't be unusual for them to back a Republican.  Though I do admit the idea that Tancredo is leading some sort of Hispanic Republican resurgence is quite Ironic.
