This also raises the interesting question of how many of the 2016 GOP candidates would answer "yes" to the question "Do you support a two-state solution to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict?"

None would give a straight yes; the divide would be between the Adelsonites and those who would parrot the AIPAC position statement (PA must recognize Israel as a "Jewish state," Jerusalem undivided, Hamas must disarm, etc. etc.).

The evangelical crowd is a small minority of all voters, but they are a significant part of the GOP. Exit polls in 2012 showed 19% of all voters were White Born Again AND voted for Romney, compare that to 32% of self-identified Republicans and you actually have 2/3s of Republican voters being White Evangelical.

Not everyone who voted for Romney is a Republican.
