In the previous job, I was taking existing drawings of large heating systems (boilers and electrical systems) for large refineries and detailing them, making revisions as handed down by the customer and the engineers.

In this new job, I will be mapping out the same heating systems on a fresh drawing.

So more responsibility and less oversight? Oh lord.

Bushie, if you get fired from your next CAD job, will you put CAD in the customer service bin and get a job at WalMart?

Admittedly, I may have cooked my own goose when I said I could get them done in 2-3 hours (this was before they told me 15-45 minutes).  I thought to myself, "oops".  I don't know if that statement leaves me out or not.  I'll find out Monday.

How are you going to spin this gaffe into a victory?

If I don't get this job, then there would be no victory, but still a chance to apply and interview other places.  The game does not end with this one interview.

Gaffe aside. Given your always optimistic view of your skills, does it worry you that you think it would take you 2 hours to do something they want in 15 minutes?

We'd need to get more diagnoses for his other conditions he probably has.

Really, it's a miracle his parents even got him diagnosed for Tourette's and not just assumed he was possessed by the devil. But it is strange that despite this diagnosis, he still feels a stigma about seeing if he has OTHER psychiatric disabilities.

Bush might as well apply though. No harm if denied.

Problem is Bushie isn't willing to fight for it.  If he really wanted it, he could get it. As his, he argues he doesn't qualify for #2.

Jeff, you don't even need to PM JMann and Smash with info on this one. I know they will tell this is an awful job for you and you will fail HARD at it. It's clear as day from the little info you've already provided. Even if you aren't on the phone, this is a customer service job where you will have to answer difficult questions by the customer and your Tourette's will may it difficult for you.

Please get a job at WalMart, Target, or anywhere else for the holiday season. You will be unemployed on Christmas Day if you take a "HelpDesk" job.

More importantly, Papa apparently disinvited him from Kansas City during the long car ride to Tulsa.

In fact, the Papa directed decision to take Bushie to Tulsa and have him check his mail is quite interesting. It's clear they are fed up and frustrated with him. Without knowledge of the Update, it gives Papa a good alibi and Mama time alone to prepare. It also makes Bushie's whereabouts prior to being home alone house sitting this weekend questionable as it now looks like he's been in Tulsa this whole time.

I'm getting a sneaking suspicion our Dear Friend is about to be murdered by his parents. RIP Bushie.
