No, that's not why you didn't get any exercise. You just don't want to exercise. When you can admit that, you'll be on the first step to actually solving the problem of why you don't exercise.

You're right, to be honest it really didn't cross my mind for more than a brief second or two.

Why not? What's stopping you from walking every day? What's stopping you right now from stepping outside your door, walking in one direction for 15 minutes and turning around walking back for 15 minutes?

Bushie, portion control isn't your issue. You only eat large portions because you eat garbage that isn't filling. You need to eat vegetables. In any portioned amount. Of any kind. Cooked with any method.

A better report than "I only ate half my burger, and fries and a coke" would be "I only ate my burger and didn't get fries or a coke."

I can see what you're saying.  The reason I only ate half my burger was the meat had a different flavor than what I'm used to from Braum's.  It seemed like they overdid it on one of the spices they put on the patty.  I don't know that to be true, but that's what it tasted like.  I ate as much as I could, but I couldn't finish it.

Cool story bro.

You're wasting your time, Aizen.  There's no such thing as setting the bar low enough with Bushie. He's psychologically averse to stepping over it. I challenged him to 30 days of not eating ice cream and he went 4 days before he had nothing but ice cream for dinner.

It's time to go on another hiatus.  Nobody on this forum understands me and most think I'm the worst hell-bound person in the history of mankind.

Angsty Teen Bushie.

Nobody gonna come between him and his love Doc Pepper.

Wait so does death-bed-conversion Hitler go to Heaven or not?

I've asked this question to similar Christians before, the answer is yes, but to not dwell on such things as they're only tricks of the devil to test our faith.

What are the odds Bushie will still have the ability to walk this time next year? He's teetering on that point where people are so heavy with so little muscle that they are bedridden.

I have to break my brief silence.  Today was a more successful day in the job search arena.  I scored an CAD interview at a company in West Tulsa.  I have already PM'd a couple of Update regulars to get their thoughts.  I will say this that it is a contract-to-hire position and at least $15 an hour.  It's about 17-18 miles from my apartment completely on the west side of Tulsa, but I am used to driving 32 miles one way in OKC, so 18 is nothing. Smiley

Hopefully they are morbid-tolerant and not bigots. Good luck, man.

Jeff, if you find a job in Tulsa, would you consider allowing your lease to run out and finding an apartment closer to work when the time is right?

No, because it's not an original idea. At this point you should realize that if Jeff doesn't feel like he thought of something organically, he does not do it.

Good Thursday Morning.  Even though I have an interview tomorrow, naturally I'm going to continue the job search today.  An interview is not a job.  In about 10 minutes, I'm going to drive to find the company before I have to find it tomorrow.  Yes, I have my GPS and I have always been very good with maps, but I am a visual learner and I do better when I've been to the actual location before I have to go there.  It may seem like a waste of money and time, but I've found this is something that works for me.

lol

So are we still pretending Bushie doesn't have serious mental health issues? Because I don't see how you can read that post and not think so.

I have mental issues for being a visual learner?  I don't get the correlation.

It's not how you're learning per se, it's what you're trying to learn that raises eyebrows.

Why won't you vote for Inhofe? Not socially conservative enough?

I've never liked his politics.  I'm conservative, but he's too conservative even for me.  I'm sure he's a nice guy, but I just don't like his politics.

How is Inhofe bad but Sally Kern good?

Bushie is a visual learner. He needs to watch ESPN for a week before the SuperBowl to learn what teams are playing.

I don't have any paralyzing phobias, am not morbidly obese, nor chronically unemployed. I don't need to stalk potential employers for visual learning either.

I guess I'm not normal. Sad

Bushie, is your avoidance of broccoli, spinach, and tomatoes part of a paralyzing fear or just general distaste?

I got the solution... well, a full psychiatric eval is the solution, but solution for this particular phobia.

Bushie needs to purchase a slow cooker. A simple CrockPot can be had at the WalMart for about $20.

All he's got to do is dump all the ingredients in the pot, let it simmer for 4-8 hours depending on what it is and no worries. If he's too uh... paralyzed... he can go outside and walk around get some fresh air while it cooks.

Here's a nifty bacon cheeseburger recipe for Bushie to get started:

Crockpot -

1) Add 1 roast, some peeled carrots, onions and spuds.  - dinner for several days

2) Add a half a dozen chicken breasts and throw a can of cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom soup over them - dinner for several days.

3) Add a pork roast and a large jar or bag of sauerkraut.   - dinner for several days.

It's not rocket science.

Bolded are things that are too much work for Bushie, loathed by Bushie, and Bushie is paralyzingly afraid of trying. Be he will consider doing these things and hasn't decided,  yet.

I good key is to cook the meat to be a neutrally enjoyable in multiple kinds of dishes, like a very simple chicken with garlic and onions can go great on a sandwich, work with pasta, in a burrito, or with some soysauce and stir fry veggies.

Pot roast works on its own with different combo of sides, on nachos, in sandwiches.
