Bushie's favorite food is bread. The meat and cheese inside it is just an added garnish

Bushie using last week's "cheat" meals and this week's "cheat" meals back to back. Love it.

Bushie, you should go shop at the Asian supermarket. They might have food that isn't going to kill you there.

I'm liking this Antichrist episode. I would love to have been a fly on the wall in the writers room when they workshopped this gem.

So, when God is delivering the prophecy of the end times, he is being completely literal except when referring to Macedonia, in which he is actually talking about historical Greece, and not the Republic of Macedonia, a nation he knows will exist at the endtime and would be the area commonly to referred to as Macedonia in a literal sense.

Oh and Tsipras is the only leftist EU head of state that has met Pope Francis and is hesitant about Israel.

I think Bushie's research skills are better with scam employers.

Have you prayed and ask God for clues about the Antichrist?

Bushie, are you aware of how far out of the mainstream your beliefs are on Revelation/End Times/etc.?

Like I realize they're pretty standard for your church, but do you know that most scholarly analysis believes Revelation refers to the ancient persecution of Christians by the Roman Empire (after all 666 would have been an easily-recognizable Roman numberplay reference to Nero), and not to future events/the end of the world? And all that "Antichrist" stuff isn't even in Revelation...

Whether it's in the mainstream or not is irrelevant. Also, Revelation is not the only prophecy book.  The book of Daniel in the Old Testament chapters 7-12 are also vivid prophecy chapters.

I disagree completely. What makes your few people right and the majority of historians and scholars wrong? And don't give me the "I believe what I believe and won't consider changing" line. God gave you a brain and critical thinking skills. When you blindly and rotely believe something outside of the mainstream, you should at least be open to reading what the experts (a good sampling of them, not just a cherry-picked few) have to say.

I'm not trying to single you out -- trust me, I live in the most Baptist state in the country so I've known lots of people who honestly believe that fringe viewpoint about Revelation/Antichrist/End Times/etc. and have no idea that it's just not supported by actual evidence. If you could come to that same conclusion after examining the actual scholarly discourse on the subject, it would bleed positively into your life. You might worry a little more about your health when you realize that nothing in the Bible suggests that the world will end in the next 10 years. And you wouldn't waste your time worrying about whether the prime minister of Greece (!) is an evil madman taking over the world with Satan's help.

Seriously? I go to an evangelical church and have NEVER heard anyone talk about this end times crap. It must be more of a Southern thing. But I always assumed it was pretty fringe even amongst conservative Christians.

You go to evangelical church with a small e.

It can't be that fringe; the Left Behind series has sold millions of copies.

Yes, but it's likely every Left Behind reader bought one for themselves and 8 more as Christmas gifts to distant relatives to use as door stops.

1st trumpet:  World War I (Revelation 8:7)
2nd trumpet: World War II (Revelation 8:8-9)
3rd trumpet: Chernobyl (Revelation 8:10-11)
4th trumpet: Unsure of what this one was (Revelation 8:12-13)
5th trumpet: Saddam Hussein destroying Kuwait in Operation Desert Shield (Revelation 9:1-12)
6th trumpet: World War 3, which I believe is the current war with ISIS, (Revelation 9:13-21)
7th trumpet: The Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 11:15-19)

Why were no wars fought in the 1900 year period between Jesus resurrection and World War I significant yet two globally insignificant events in Cherynobl and Kuwait trumpets? What about the Black Death of Europe that wiped out a third of the Earth's popular?

If you can't figure out the 4th trumpet, how can you identify the 5th, 6th, and 7th? Wouldn't that setup be required?

Bushie is 100% certain that the 4th trumphet is referencing "Unsure of what this one was" and there is NOTHING you can do to change his mind about that.

I believe what the Bible says more than I believe what any man says.

No. You clearly believe Irvin Baxter more than the Bible. You can't even really articulate your beliefs beyond "Irvin Baxter said the Bible says."

Bushie, why do you want to not think about your beliefs very hard? Generally, if something is true, the more you think about it, the more convinced you become.

I already answered what I believe is the 4th trumpet - the fall of the Berlin Wall and the reunification of Germany.  I could be wrong, but that's what I believe.

Stop plagiarizing Mr. Baxter

Bushie, are you really comfortable with saying an oil refinery burning in Kuwait in 1990 is one of the 7 most important events in the history of the universe?

PiT may be on to something. Troy Polamalu has long hair, football is like a battle, Steelers wear gold and breastplates in the uniforms, and they lost to Tebow in the playoffs.

And the football season is 5 months long September to January.

The Bible says it will wipe out a third of mankind - over 2 billion people. I highly doubt the war will stay in the Eastern Hemisphere.  It has the probability of spreading into the West.

2 billion people don't live in the West. 5.5 of our 7 billion people live in Asia and Africa.

The 4th Trumpet would actually be a good fit for climate change.

Locusts with long hair who pester you not to eat the earth are a pretty good description of hippy environmentalists.

Hmmm... perhaps the key to convincing Americans on climate change will be to have an Evangelical pastor connect climate change to the 7 trumpets.

The 2 billion people includes the West, but not only the west.  It's unclear how much of the United States will be involved.

Well, when you factor in that Christians will be raptured in the West, in order to get to the 2 billion people killed in the Apocalyptic War, you'd have to get the East Asians involved somehow and I don't see how Japan and China will suddenly care about ISIS.

Um Japan doesn't care about ISIS? We're you paying attention recently?

I meant in the sense of getting into a war. The numbers just aren't there for 2 billion of the world's non-Christian population to be threatened in a war with ISIS. ISIS would have to move east into conquering Asia which doesn't fit into Bushie's narrative that the EU/Greece will produce the AC.

Can somebody decide to be the Anti-Christ? Or do they have to be chosen?

I mean, the Book of Revelation tells you everything you need to do to be the AC. I guess I could just work to be him.

"I feel like showing off today," thought God. "Should I inspire a miracle peace deal? Bring rains to a drought devastated area in Africa? I know, I'll get a recruiter to set up a phone job interview with Jeff."
