Interestingly enough, there was a (very unscientific) poll about the kind of cars people drive and what it says about their political leanings:  "Politics Behind the Wheel"

Really? Here, foreign cars seem to be driven by wealthy Asian (meaning liberal) people.

Those cars (in bold) fit more of the stereotypical democrat actually.
