It's not really relevant to me whether it's scientific or not, since I'm not using it to do science.  The INTP ISTJ description offers a pretty good description of how I think, so it's a useful shorthand to be able to give to other people who are familiar with Myers-Briggs types, if I want to offer a brief sketch of my personality to someone.  Is that so wrong?  Tongue
