Finally we agree on something.

Poor Olmert. He tried to use the Lebanon War to establish his security credentials. He didn't have the same military background that Ariel Sharon did, so he went in guns blazing to prove himself. Sadly, he didn't achieve his goal.

I think Olmert's approval problems began when the guns stopped blazing.  He listened to the "world" and handed the terrorists a percieved victory.

Why?  Because he doesn't support using restraint against terrorists?

Because he is a war monger, a hate monger, and a fear monger.  Israel doesn't need extremists in charge, it needs men like Olmert and Sharon.
