If the GOP was to nominate Bobby Jindal, he'd get 60% of the white vote.  It's not based on skin color but ideology.
In South Carolina, a black candidate beat Strom Thurmond's son in the GOP primary then went on to defeat a white democrat.  I'm sick of people calling southerners racist because of their voting patterns.  Yes, that was true 50 years ago but not now.
