Obviously, Caiaphas was a fiscally conservative, pro gun maverick. Unlike the more socially conservative, blue dog, Pilate, Caiaphas would have favoured civil unions.

If you think I'm harsh regarding gays, Caiaphas would make me look like a social liberal.
