If Perry stays in after South Carolina it will be because he hopes he gets the VP slot from Romney as a reward for splitting off a fraction of the anti-Romney vote well after it was absolutely clear he had no chance.

He's polling 6% which is likely to drop further...not sure if he's splitting much.
