So with the drop of GTA5 (which is nearing a billion dollars of sales in the first week!!!) I thought it'd be nice and dandy to have an entire thread dedicated to wonderful upcoming video games for the good of us all.

EDIT: green text = released (you can still click on the title of the game to be redirected to the wiki page)

I'll start.

2013

Call of Duty: Ghosts (due out November 5th on all consoles, will be released in conjunction with PS4 and Xbox One later)
NBA 2K14 (due out October 1st in the US, October 4th in Europe and in conjunction with PS4 and Xbox One later)
Pokemon X and Y (due out Worldwide on the 3DS on October 12th)
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (due out October 29th in North America, October 31st in Australia, November 1st in Europe and November 28th in Japan, PS4 and Xbox One at a later date)
Battlefield 4 (due out October 29th in North America, November 1st in Europe, will be released in conjunction with PS4 and Xbox One later)

2014

Titanfall (coming March 14th 2014, Xbox exclusive)
Dying Light (release date conflicts, Gamestop pre-orders list release date as April 1st)
The Evil Within (release date TBA)
Destiny (release date conflicts, Gamestop pre-orders list release date as June 30th)

I probably missed a few. I know Fallout 4 is coming pretty soon, and Doom 4 is also in the works.

>listing CoD Ghosts as an "awesome video game"

Have you even watched the trailer or seen the gameplay demos? Or are you just prematurely jumping on the "CoD is for stoopid nubz" bandwagon?

yeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssss

To be fair, EVERY CoD game has been for "stoopid nubz" so far (at least as far as multiplayer is concerned...which is really the only thing that matters in a FPS), why should we expect anything different for the next one?

and you forgot BF4 in your list.

Also, yeah but the campaign for this CoD actually looks really good for a change, which is refreshing.

Shoot I knew I was forgetting something

Yeah, with all these incredible games coming out, I'm trying to decide which new console I should save up for and get, since my PC can only run the new games on the lowest settings.

All aboard the XBONE train

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF Purple heart

I AM SO PUMPED FOR THIS

I definitely need this, but rumour has it that it may not ever come out because the studio has zero management skills.

So another Duke Nukem 3 then? Oh dear...

It appears so. It's a shame, really. Doom is one of my favourite game series of all time, and I really don't want to see it die a Duke Nukem death.

Neither do I, and I just realized I had typed Duke Nukem 3 instead of Duke Nukem Forever... LOL

didn't even notice that myself haha

I just read a review and it sounds pretty above average, but nothing to really soak the panties about.

Finally got my overall k:d ratio positive and have just unlocked the Saiga shotgun (I had more than 6400 kills with it in BF3).  Now if only I can start joining teams that don't suck total ass.

I just tried playing BF3 on my computer last night and it didn't work very well. Ugh. Seems as though my $500 facebook machine is starting to crap out a little.

~EL BUMP~

So I've gotten the opportunity to play both COD:Ghosts and BF4 multiplayer and I must say...Ghosts is preferable. While BF4 is still a lot of fun to play, the Ghosts gameplay is a lot smoother and definitely makes up for its weaknesses (awkward spawning points at times, illogical damage output, etc) with its strengths (vast variety of weapons and killstreak perks, well done maps, field orders, etc)
