One thing I want the Northern Assembly to start doing is to have the authors or sponsors of bills to give reasons for their support of the bill. So, R2D2, what's so great about this bill?

And the Northern Assembly should become more active. There are still bills I want to introduce, too.

I think it's critical that we implement paid maternity leave in the region. We know that parents balancing work with tending to their newborn children is incredibly difficult, so accommodating those parents only seems fair.

While I am not a member of this chamber, I ask that a clause is added to enable maternity leave to be taken by the father instead of the mother should this be the preferred option for the parents.

Noted!
