I think that is to be left up to the good people of Connecticut.  If democrats there dislike his actions, they are free to oppose him in the primary, and anyone who considers such a move unacceptable can make a different choice in the next general election.

C'mon - this is how the GOP lost Jeffords.  Whatever happened to the idea of Senators representing their state and constituents first, with partisanship mostly limited to choosing the committee chairships?
