And I hope that leaders in the white community urge calm on behalf of the cops. We don't want those violent police thugs to riot again.

I just hope that if I'm ever accused of a crime, the prosecution goes to bat as hard for me as they seem to have done for the murderer cop here.

I think Jack Ruby might  have been cleared of shooting Lee Harvey Oswald with this prosecutor.

Edit: By the way, I emphathize with the people of Ferguson, and the police response has been awful, but if the people of Sanford remained calm after the Zimmerman killing, than I see no reason why Ferguson should go up in flames.

Everyone knew this was going to be ugly if there was no indictment.

There will be a couple of isolated violent-ish incidents tonight in Ferguson and Fox News/conservatives will spin it as "blacks rioting in Ferguson" all over again.

It's already begun. A couple of incidents = mass riots in the streets. People want to hear that the unruly blacks aren't behaving, and the media is making sure to tell them that.

Yup, the violent thugs began gassing the protestors about 15 minutes ago. Once again, the cops are completely out of control.

I heard there is rioting in Oakland. That can't be true, can it? I can't find anything on TV or the internet, so I assume that is a false alarm.

Oakland is always a powder keg. The combination of lots of tensions with the local police, and by far the most radicalized branch of Occupy anywhere.

Reportedly just some peaceful protests in NY, and I expect it to stay that way.

It would have been shocking if there wasn't a protest in Oakland right now.

You know, black-white relationships isn't the reason why he wasn't indicted.

In Quebec, we had various issues of policemen shooting on people without reason or speeding without reason, crashing into cars and killing people. Guess what? No indictments, even if both the policeman and the victim were very white. Police and prosecutors cover each other. Thankfully, Quebec gets a reform of that next year (well, the reform is done, but there is normal delays, you can't create a new structure the day the bill passes).

I understand well. It's the "police-prosecutor-(sometimes private prisons)" establishment vs. weak people not being able to defend themselves from law abuses. Most black people are part of the latter, but they're not alone in that latter group.

The prosecutor is supposed to prosecute. But I guess the son of a white cop who may have been killed by a black man is going to side with the white cops 100% of the time. This isn't the first time his racism in letting white cops off has come out.
