President: President Ronald W. Reagan (R-CA)
Vice-President: President Richard M. Nixon (R-NY)
In 1968 he was a resident of NY. The other times he ran for VP or Prez, he lived in CA.
Akno, wasn't Nixon also from California?

Thus making him ineligible to run with Reagan, if you play by those rules....

Or at least, the electors from CA couldn't vote for him.

He was from California when he was VP, but when he ran for President, he was from New York, at least according to the Atlas.
