Early Primary Prediction

Bob Smith wins the battle of the carpetbaggers 51-48. (Although I still think Smith has residency in Florida...)
Smiths gonna get crushed.

He wins the primary, Shaheen wins in November by double digits. Which would be a rather pathetic end to a once-promising career, IMO.

Really? I thought that the lower turnout and more savvy voters would help him out.
An incumbent with +15 approval ratings is not going to lose to a carpet bagger with a -10 approval
Will Shaheen lose? Of course not, but Brown should at least come within eight points. 54-46 is my current prediction, but that of course will change as the election commences.

Can confirm, have friends close to the NHGOP.
The Connie Mack from NH? The son of a politician, who is an ass hole.
Kind of the opposite. Sununu Sr. is the asshole, unless there are things I don't know about Sununu Jr.

any chance Scott Brown comes out with a statement that says "tee hee, just kidding! I'm not really going to run fro Senate in somebody else's state." ?  Tongue
No chance at all. This is a good thing for republicans, as Brown is consistently polling better against Shaheen than the other republican candidates are (Former NH Sen. Robert Smith, Former NH State Sen. Jim Rubens, and Perennial Candidate Andy Martin).
Polling better than people nobody's heard of isn't a huge distinction.
The people of New Hampshire never heard of Bob Smith when they elected him to the Senate?
