I used to cry every time I didn't win something too...
And then I turned 12
That's because the patriarchy tells us letting emotions out isn't a good thing. It's despicable. I always cry when I lose anything. The nature of competition gets emotional.
The President of the United States is going to have to be capable of making rational decisions whether good for his self esteem or not. There is nothing wrong with being competitive; you aren't giving it your all if you aren't competitive. But you cannot let losing cloud your judgment to the degree that Trump does. Most functional adults are able to be emotionally competitive in without having a neurotic breakdown every time they don't get their way. They do this by recognizing it's really not all about
me. Most adults are emotionally capable of processing that. Now increasingly we seem to have more and more who aren't. That's why we enjoy seeing people like comments on the internet and have in our vocabulary such absurd ideas as a "safe space". Trump is continually revealing that part of himself, so much so that it is difficult to see any other.
