The American cardinals seem to be even more conservative than what we have now.

Hey, I'm looking at this from a nationality angle, friend. Smiley

Any idea if Super Delegate Benedict will be issuing an endorsement before the Conclave?

I doubt it. He's on experimental ground as is, any kind of politicking for a successor or, well, talking about his successor's policies he would probably consider as endangering the unity of the Church and damaging the Papacy.

...I wasn't serious. I just wanted to refer to him as a Super Delegate.

La Repubblica is reporting that Dolan has strong backing from Italian and American Cardinals. Smiley

ABC News reports that the Pope will fly by helicopter from The Vatican to the Pope's summer residence outside of Rome. Very Nixonesque with the chopper. Tongue

I read that one week or two ago.

I'm sure you did. I'm just reading today's article on how everything will go down tomorrow. Tongue

Did someone really say Dolan has "zero" chance? Haha. Someone hasn't been following this that closely...

The Papabili Wikipedia page lists Philadelphia's former Cardinal (Justin Rigali) as a potential winner, citing an article by CBS New York. Laughable.

I'm glad Naples' Cardinal Sepe is getting some mention. He's a dark horse. If we can't have an American, I'm rooting for him to be the upset winner. Smiley

Delays ?

They are singing, then taking an oath.

Wink

I thought that was supposed to end by 11:30 EST. Tongue

Viva Papa.

And, yes, he "looks the part."
