Oh wow. About to be some massive dropped points for City at home while Arsenal are set to claim their title spot (4th). New Year's Day should be great!

nah, Southampton is still in fourth on goal difference I think?

But yes, we are coming closer and closer to our rightful place in the table.

Oh. Yay!

He's clearly about to leave Liverpool, at the very least.

He wasn't even listed as a sub today so, yeah.

You know it's bad when The Obnoxious One is silent and confused.

Real Madrid lost at Valencia but the big news is Barcelona lost to David Moyes' 16th placed Real Sociedad because of a 2nd minute own goal!

Juventus only up a point in the league table after failing to beat Inter! Roma very much closing in. I'm very pleasantly surprised. This might actually be an interesting race.

I've been saying it for awhile: Roma are the favorites for the title.

Massive weekend coming up as the top four square off: Roma vs. Lazio in the Rome Derby then Napoli vs. Juve. It's going to be an awesome Sunday.

Lazio dominated the first half, go into the break up 2-0.

Roma equalize within twenty minutes, two goals by Totti.

He takes a selfie in front of Curva Sud. What a match.

I thought we were destined to get the win once our worst player equalized but our usual horrible defense plus some favors from the refs have Juve all three points. Sad

Congrats, smilo. Tongue

We don't have a high school Soccer thread so I figured I'd just post it here: it's been announced that the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup Final will be hosted at The Linc in Philly.

This is actually great news for those of us that dream of having a real competition's (World Cup 2026 or maybe even 2022 if FIFA comes to their senses soon) Semi final in the City of Brotherly Love.

Too early to call but it reduces the prospects of a Chelsea-MC title race.

Please. It's over. Just like how Roma only drawing to Palermo yesterday game Juve their fourth consecutive title.

(Huge win for Napoli away to Lazio today though. Now sitting in 3rd.)

What's worse than City's loss is Chelsea losing 4-2 to "The Bantams" after being up 2-0 at Stamford Bridge!

One or two upsets is one thing. This many makes it a total joke competition. But...

Anyone upset at Chelsea losing needs to be summarily trepanned.

I agree with that.

Torres scores in the first minute against Barcelona.

Unfortunately, Barcelona ended up scoring three.

Roma in full disaster mode, losing 2-0 at home in their Coppa Quarter final to Fiorentina.

Napoli vs. Inter tomorrow! 😁

Higuain scores the winner in the 93rd! Cheesy

In Germany, Dortmund lose. Again. They've solidified their last place spot. Such a genuine shame.
