Why, why, why would her campaign agree to do this? Why? Somebody needs to remove Bill Clinton from scheduling/campaign event approval duty.


...Except for the fact that in a hyper-controlled campaign like Clinton's, everything is...well, hyper-controlled. There's no way that both she and her campaign weren't aware prior of every word in the script, every intended applause line and every response she was supposed to have. I mean, taken to its extreme, doing a parody skit involving Lee Atwater's Southern Strategy remarks wouldn't necessarily involve her saying it, but it'd involve her knowing ahead of time that the "n*****, n*****" bit was coming.
