This is all about an approval bump - and judging by some of the spineless responses from anti-Trump posters in this thread, it's going to work.

What a bunch of suckers. Roll Eyes

'Spineless' would be ditching your actual, genuine beliefs because Trump agrees with them.

Don't worry: they'll all be crying about how bad full-scale war is once again after their rah-rahing inevitably leads us into another one.

Are people in this thread still acting like Trump dropped those bombs for any other reason than to boost his terrible poll numbers? C'mon, now.

This ignorant and spineless "for the children of the world" crap coming from the left is the same reason why AUMF for Iraq got 75 votes in the Senate (from the right, it's merely faux outrage being used to justify their typical lust for war).

Stop it.

graham doesn't stop talking, there must be a million interviews right now.

Sen. John McCain says last night's strikes were covered under both the Constitution and the 2001 AUMF.

He said Syria broke international law w/ chemical attacks. "Anybody who believes that we shouldn't respond to that, I have no use for them."

The Walking Tumor and the Bloodthirsty Old Queen are the last people we should be consulting for sound foreign policy. The former said we'd be in Iraq for a few months tops and then later, when proven wrong, bragged about how we should stay there for 100 years if need be; the latter just likes bombing things so people won't think he's a big ol' bossy bottom.
