I want to discuss this legislation a little bit. Right now, especially in Texas, Charter schools are capped. There's a variety of reasons for that, but demand for charter schools has greatly outstripped supply.

In order to rectify this imbalance, I'd like to see the cap lifted so that the charter schools can expand to match demand.
