Dick Cheney could not campaign non-stop for a year. His body could not take it. Plus, for however much I dislike Bush and Reagan, they are good campaigners who connect/ed well with voters. Cheney is not that.

Hillary could win a Democratic primary, she is very popular among Democrats. In a national election, whoever got better turnout would win, it would probably be be good for both sides, since the Clinton's are especially polarizing. I still like Bill Richardson in 2008 if Bush is re-elected.

Wes Clark should have gotten in earlier. He said himself to CNN"s Wolf Blitzer that he wasn't well organized enough to compete in Iowa. By the time his train got rolling, it's destination (Dean) vanished. Personally, Dean never really had a chance. If he did well early, I have confidence that Democrats in later primaries would have sat down and said "Look, I like this guy, but it's fairly obvious that Karl Rove and the Bush team will tear him apart"

I will say this in every case where you just name one person running: WHo is he running against?  ANyone think Cheney would lose against LaRouche?

Dick Cheney would beat LaRocuhe. I doubt he could beat a serious candidate, although it depends if you call Dean serious or a more popular version of Dennis Kucinich.
Who would win a Dean-Cheney debate?
