I doubt Obama will run.  IMO, he needs a few more years of seasoning.  He does undoubtedly have potential, though.

Thev guy's been in the senate for 23 days.  How do you know he has potential.  He could just end up as another senator like Mikulski or Bingaman that you never hear about.

He could, but what other senators do you know that are young, intelligent, and well liked?

And by the way, potential usually means that he's got a future ahead, and that things could happen in the future.  Not that he's proven himself now, or that he's definitely going to in the future.
