The big question here is can republicans win the 2014 florida gubernatorial election?
Maybe if Scott goes out quietly, someone like Pam Bondi, Jennifer Carroll, or Adam Putnam can take his place, but they will be fighting to rid themselves of his taint. I can't think of any Democrat besides Bill Nelson that can win a statewide race in Florida anymore. I suppose we could get Sink or Crist to run, but their performances in 2010 were underwhelming (Though Sink deserves a some credit, considering the political environment).
