ITT people more outraged over terrorism that doesn't kill anyone than terrorism that kills innocent civilians.

Just send in federal officers with handcuffs. If they surrender without a fight, it proves they're all talk and no action and discredits their agenda. If they fire shots, it proves they're radical terrorists and what happens after is strictly their fault.

Pretty much. At this point, this remains a trespassing situation. I suspect they're mainly talkers, and are more than likely to back down with a show of force. The people cheerleading for blood are sick, and many of them likely don't care that they're endangering federal agents in the process.

(Regarding the previous post) And I seem to recall protesting liberals saying trespassing (in parks after hours) was not a crime because people have a right to exist and the government can't dictate where they are (and the sane ones at least limited that to non-private places) - any abridgment of the right to exist was a violation of human rights even for the reason of safety after hours during toxic situations in residential areas.

Yeah, the rank hypocrisy of the radical left supporting communists seizing public parks but opposing militia nuts seizing federal buildings is pretty amazing.

Me, I think the law needs to come down on both of them.

I mean, guns aside, Occupy caused millions of dollars in damage and lost revenue, assaulted officers and shook down local businesses, menaced private citizens with open threats of mass murder, and fringe elements plotted to blow up a bridge. Until such a time as they escalate - which could happen - this Bundy clown show is hiding in a shed.

It'd be more appropriate to call them thieves rather than terrorists.  Certainly that's what they are advocating, the theft of public lands for their own private purposes.

Yeah, thieves, squatters, illegal occupiers, blackmailers...there's lots of appropriate terms.

Terrorists is not one of them, because who the hell are these yahoos terrorizing? And if "holing up somewhere with a gun and daring the authorities" is enough to get someone classified as a terrorist, we're going to be getting Homeland involved in a lot of common criminal cases.

So what's the casualty rate so far? How about infrastructure damage? What's the affected area?

Once they engaged the police with weapons, the police were within their rights to use deadly force without question.

The people gleefully advocating a slaughter from moment one in defense of an EMPTY SHED were adorable, though.
