What if a plane carrying electoral votes crashes on its way to Washington? And no one get more than 269 EVs?

If noone gets 269 votes, it goes to the house. This can happen if there is a successful third party.
I mean, if the ballot box containing the electoral votes goes on a plane, and it crashes.
