I seriously doubt nominating Roseanne would've produced any noteworthy improvement for the Green Party. But I suppose third parties are jokes here anyway (even more so for the Presidential races), so there's really no use in nominating a "serious" candidate over a joke one.
Roseanne isn't much different than Trump, and I don't see what makes someone like Herman Cain a more serious candidate than Jill Stein, so maybe not only third parties in this country are jokes.

They would've received more votes. Not that they'd win. If anything, it might hurt Democrats in a very close state, but I don't see that being an issue for the Democrats anyway.
Yeah, I don't doubt that they'd have performed better overall, but is Roseanne really that active or significant politically that she could actually bring about a marked increase? I confess to being totally ignorant on Roseanne. I know, shame on me.
