How did Bushie move into it the first time? Did Papa buy him all new furniture?

Yes,

Clearly the logical thing is for Jeff to just leave all his belongings in the apartment and for Papa Bushie to buy a new suite of furniture for the future OKC apartment. Because, you know, movers are expensive and Craigslist is too complicated. Jeff would really be doing his parents a favor.

Why can't all these "friends" from church help? The ones he wants to stay in Tulsa for sake of continuing to be in a congregation with? What happened to all that good Christian charity and small town hospitality?

I have no reason to be ashamed or even worried.

Actually, you do. Take your head out of the sand, open your eyes and take a good hard look at yourself. And if you can't handle that, I'll leave you with this:

I just sent in my first application for a Detail Draftsman/CAD Operator in Tulsa.  I've got to get ready for church, then I will do more job searching tonight before I read my Bible.

"I went past the field of the sluggard, past the vineyard of the man who lacks judgment; thorns had come up everywhere, the ground was covered with weeds and the stone wall was in ruins. I applied my heart to what I observed and learned a lesson from what I saw: A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest--and poverty will come on you like a bandit and scarcity like an armed man."
Proverbs 24:30-34

"We hear that some among you are idle. ... Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the bread they eat."
2 Thessalonians 3:11-12
