Honorable mentions: any of Southern Tier's Imperial offerings, Goose Island's Bourbon County stout, Victory's Golden Monkey and Prima Pils, and, for everyday drinking, good old Yuengling Lager.

Or, really, pretty much any Belgian tripel.  That's the best style.

I've heard this is incredibly good, but damn it is expensive.

I had it once.  I wasn't paying.  Tongue

I haven't had many quality beers, but of the cheap variety, Blue Moon and Shiner aren't bad.

Shiner is probably the closest analogue there is to Yuengling, in terms of cost/taste/brewery size and status.

Of course Yuengling is better because Pennsylvania >>>>> Texas.  It annoys me to no end that you seem to be able to get Shiner in more places than Yuengling nowadays in NYC; that state of affairs is just wrong.
