Assange outs gay men in Saudi Arabia, also personal info of rape/abuse victims

Outing (living) people is always wrong, even if you don't like them politically (or other reasons).  Anybody that tells you otherwise is a special kind of asshole.

Especially if they live in Saudi Arabia.

Indeed, worse there since chances are you will be, you know, actually murdered by religious nut jobs.  But still really really bad in the west too even if there is little chance of being murdered.  Anybody that does it or promotes it (or celebrates it) is an asshole.  Period.

I agree 100%.

Julian Assange is a piece of work, to be sure-- and it now appears the bad outweighs the good. Other than wanting him to be safe from torture or abuse while in prison, I have lost pretty much all sympathy for him.
