Sorry PBrunsel, but Herbert Hoover's time on the island has run out as he is our next commander in chief to be voted off of Presidential Survivor.

So onto Round 29.   Immunity is up for grabs in this round.   The instructions for immunity are simply this.   The very first person to post in this round, will get to select one president for immunity.   Myself and Governor Wildcard will not be eligible to win immunity for a president, seeing as how both of us knew about this ahead of time.

And with that being said, it's time to raise the curtain on Round 29.   Fourteen Presidents remain in this game.   Who will be next?   Round 29 is now open for voting.

And I am now officially calling the Midnight rule, the Tredrick Rule.   He tried to beat his six second record last round, but missed by 3 seconds.   The cut off is very clear on this, and no exceptions will be made for anybody.

PRESIDENTS ON THE ISLAND:

George Washington
Thomas Jefferson
James Madison
James Monroe
Abraham Lincoln
Grover Cleveland
William McKinley
Theodore Roosevelt
Calvin Coolidge
Harry Truman
Dwight D. Eisenhower
John F. Kennedy
Gerald Ford      (IMMUNITY)
Ronald Reagan

ELIMINATED PRESIDENTS (in order by when they were eliminated):

Jimmy Carter
James Buchanan
Warren Harding
William H. Harrison
Andrew Jackson
John Tyler
Millard Fillmore
Andrew Johnson
Rutherford B. Hayes
Ulysses S. Grant
Woodrow Wilson
Franklin Pierce
Lyndon B. Johnson
Franklin D. Roosevelt
Zachary Taylor
Benjamin Harrison
James A. Garfield
Richard Nixon
George W. Bush
William H. Taft
Chester A. Arthur
John Quincy Adams
John Adams
George H. W. Bush
Bill Clinton
James K. Polk
Martin Van Buren
Herbert Hoover

Congratulations, factor.  You have won the right to give a president immunity for this round.

EVERYONE LISTEN!!

thefactor has won immunity for this round and has selected Gerald Ford for immunity.

Gerald Ford will not be able to be voted off the island this round.  Any vote for Ford will not be counted, and anybody who votes for Ford will forfeit their vote in this round.

Well guess what folks.   You're never going to believe this.   Two votes for McKinley in the last minute, one by States Rights and the other by Tredrick with two seconds left has sent this into a tie.   Here are the final results:

William McKinley - 13

Calvin Coolidge - 13

James Monroe - 4

Ronald Reagan - 4

Abraham Lincoln - 3

John F. Kennedy - 2

Grover Cleveland - 1

Ugh.   I hate this stuff.    Anyways, looks like it's time for another tie-breaker.   Since Governor Wildcard instructed me last time to do a 30 minute tie-breaker, that's what we will stick with this time.  I will start the tie-breaker thread right now in the Election What if Forum, and this poll will close at 12:45 a.m.  eastern time.

The Tie-Breaker is currently up in this thread:

Unless Governor Wildcard, who at this time is not online in this forum, instructs me differently, I will close and lock this poll at 12:45   a.m    eastern time.

The tie-breaker is now over.    And by a 6-4 vote, the participants in this poll voted to keep Calvin Coolidge and eliminate William McKinley.

WILLIAM MCKINLEY,  YOUR TIME ON THE ISLAND HAS OFFICIALLY RUN OUT AND YOU HAVE BEEN VOTED OFF OF THIS ISLAND!   IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO GO!!

PRESIDENT MCKINLEY, THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN!!
