Hey Bushie, you hear the one about the guy who goes into the doctor to get his leg amputated due to diabetic neuropathy. It's a real knee slapper.

We know the dangers.  Diabetes is not new in our family, but it doesn't mean we're going to do a complete 180 and stop enjoying our meals.

Your funeral, well you get the drift.

Steady exercise and a good diet would likely normalize your sleeping patterns. It is counter intuitive but the more you do and move, the less sleep you will need.

Sitting around the house doing nothing and eating crummy food just induces depression and sluggishness.

Before you use it as an excuse, it will help you with your studies. Take the bowser for a stroll on the compound, break out the mower etc etc.

It takes longer to eat eggs than to fry some up. Absurd.  I guess when you have 25 minute teeth brushing sessions... hilarious.

Scrambled eggs are super quick! Spray a pan with Pam. Heat for 2 minutes, add a little salt and they're done. No time? Wtf?

Again, my morning schedule is ABSOLUTELY LEGIT.  No one can argue it is not.

Haha, it is lunacy- pure and simple.

^see post above. You spend more time planning than actually doing. You are incredibly good at wasting vast stretches of time.

So, all hamburgers and red meat are bad for you?

Er... yeah dude. Where have you been?

Red meat is perfectly fine in moderation. It is all about balance.  Processed food is what is really the killer.

Bushie if you choose to eat like a cave man at least go all the way.  Walk down to the grocery store to get exercise, ditch the hamburger buns and get a damn steak. Or to feel fuller with less fat and calories but with ample protein grilled up some chicken breasts.

We do grill chicken quite a bit.  It's probably our healthiest grilled meal we have.

Well the benefits are that you can eat almost 2x the volume of chicken vs steak caloric wise. Add vegetables (fiber) and a baked potato and you will feel fuller without overeating.  Eat slower and more deliberate.  And you would also be wise to follow the Ben Franklin rule, Eat to live, don't live to eat. Exercise over time also helps control your appetite. The hunger or lack of satiety you describe is frequently mental.

Those T-Bell tacos have limited calories because they are smalll and do not put much meat on them. When you are adding refried beans and Im sure a whole bunch of chop meat...never mind.

Tbell soft is 200 and that is without beans or sour cream.

we dont put much meat.  The beans might add 25-50 calories max.

Just be aware that some of those store brand tortillas can hit you at 150-200 each. Best of luck.

Hmm, stuck between asking inks what shoe leather tastes like and telling Jeff that part of being a responsible adult is to do things you dont feel like doing.  Both extremes I generally find distasteful. The ones who go in spreading germs are typically insecure about their utility and want to show off how hard they work like a good toady. The other generally comes in with tall tales of how ill they were to illicit sympathy.

^And apologies for the broad inference above Inks, but remember that the graveyard are full of indispensable men. If you are really sick you generally do no good coming in and playing a martyr. And expecting some wage slave to go see a doctor is ridiculous to me.
