That ad is a dangerous game to play. It made me like Joe Biden. None of those mistakes matter. Instead, they make him look human... A trait that all of the other candidates are really lacking.

It's the Republican talking point on medicare. Maybe it will shock you, but there's a Democrat one too, and the two parties actually disagree. OOoooOOoooooh.

This ad basically screams "pretend I picked Rubio."

I wish they'd just let him go in front of the camera and speak without a script. However many takes they needed, it would've produced a better result than what they ultimately got with this ad. I do think Romney needs to be doing more stuff like this, but it's all for nothing if they can't execute it properly.

That ad is exceptionally political.

It is also very good. At least from my point of view.

I saw it on a New York station. He's running this thing nationally.

Fool.

Yep.

Would that mean it actually is national? Or could it be that the NY station reaches areas of PA that Obama wanted to target?

Probably hoping youth voters will pick up on it and continue spreading the Big Bird meme throughout the twitterverse. Romney should immediately run ads calling Obama desperate and out-of-touch for airing this spot.

Romney realized two new ads today that really capitalize on this debate performance. They do a pretty good job of elevating Romney while simultaneously making Obama look weak.

"Putting Jobs First"

"Helping the Middle Class"

Romney has released a slew of ads capitalizing on his debate performance last night.

That's a good Obama ad, but as long as Axelrod et al. go around talking about parrots, bayonets, and Big Bird, I can't help but feel a little confident.

I swear Romney has used that same piano riff in one of his ads. Tongue

It's not a bad ad, but the political desperation of camp Obama is really starting to show.

Oh man, I actually teared up.

Rove's really going for the female vote. And if stuff like that pulls at my heart strings (spoiler alert: I'm an ass), it should do a lot amongst women.

As far as I'm aware, it's not going to be shown as a TV ad unless it says "I'm Barack Obama, and I approve this message." For Obama's sake, I hope they don't make that a TV ad. Both sides try to oversimplify the issue of abortion, and that ad in particular does it in a very transparent and political way.

If that is they have on this "war on women," I'm feeling rather confident.

So basically what I take from this is: "Obama didn't keep his promise."

I really hope they air this ad nationally. Please do it. Please.
