I don't know who she is but it's brave to be so ideological and then break on a particular issue.
There should be a place for pro-choice conservatives, just as there should be a place for pro-life progressives.
Her way of thinking makes much more sense than the current right/left thinking. An anti-government party should have a libertarian view on social issues, while a pro-government party should have a more moralistic view since they want to use government to promote values.
