Just Ontario and British Columbia as the rest can go to hell. Wink

It already is. Cheesy

Really?  I guess being damned to hell is actually a pretty good experience, in that case.

Seriously, "yall" is an improvement on the English language. It provides a separate word for the 2nd-person plural pronoun than the 2nd-person singular pronoun.

Umm, what do you call 'you guys'? Tongue

Anyway, I say we should all change to and vosotros!

Don't vosotros agree? Smiley
You guys? What the hell do you say if they're women?

'You guys'
What?!?!?

He said "you guys".

"Y'all" is about 100,000 times better than that ubitquitous "You guys" that you hear so often in the Northeast/Midwest.

I often hear "you guys" when I'm out on a date with a woman from a waiter/waitress.  It makes me want to punch him in the head.  I am not going out with a guy, unlike others who populate this forum.

You guys in the south are so weird. Cheesy

Saying "you guys" around here will get you lynched.  And I'll come watch. Tongue
Yall all the way!

You guys really need to chill out about "you guys".

This topic has been very informative; I now know what to call a Southerner any time I want to be annoying. Cheesy

Perhaps I'm the only person in the world who says "you all" in this instance. Cheesy

Just don't start adding unnecessary syllables. Tongue

Yall doesn't sound any more stupid than any other contraction, such as wouldn't (pronounced "wutent") or wasn't (pronounced "whatent").

"Whatent"?

I think you missed a letter in your pronounciation. Tongue

yeah, there's no need for the t at the end.  "whatun" is more correct

Remind me never to travel to the South. Smiley
